Firefox is always my default browser in my PC for many years. Windows has IE as the default browser, but i can’t find comfort in its use. I had been used it since in college and continues until now. Many exciting things to do with firefox. All the convenience and flexibility provided by the firefox will make you believe that IE is the worst browser in the world.
Another thing that makes Firefox so great is the availability of a lot of extensions for a variety of purposes. With these extensions can help our jobs easier and convenient. Support from extension’s developers truly extraordinary. Most of them provide for download for free.
The most common extension I use for firefox on windows-based PC or linux is much. All that makes browsing much easier and convenient. Here is a list of extensions that I use often from the most important.
- Xmarks
Xmarks used for synchronizing bookmarks and passwords. Very useful if we do not want important bookmarks and passwords stored in case of lost or damaged caused OS or programs malfunction. - Adblock Plus
This is important because it removes annoying ads and popups. We can get a clean page of ads. - Search Preview
Commonly known as Google Preview. It can gives us preview of Google search results. - Flagfox
It shows location of the current server. Sometimes i need to know where the server is, and this extension very useful for this. - ShowIP
It shows the IP address of the current page. Not really useful, but its comfort if we can see the IP address from opened page. - Server Spy
The same reason with ShowIP. Sometimes we can find funny things for example: a website concern about Windows OS actually use Apache for webserver, not IIS. - Personas for Firefox
This can make our firefox looks more prettier.
That’s the magnificent seven of extension for my beloved firefox. It can be different from other people. But I believe the same reason for all people to use firefox is because firefox is rocks!!
